Lebanese Tabbouleh Salad is a versatile dish that can be used in many ways. It’s commonly served as a side dish with grilled meats, kebabs, or falafel. Ingredients


  • 2 bunches of fresh parsley (about 2 cups chopped)
  • Tomatoes (amount not specified)
  • Mint (about 1/4 cup chopped or 3 tablespoons)
  • Burghul (fine bulgur, number 1)
  • Green onions (amount not specified)
  • Olive oil (1/3 cup)
  • Lemon juice (about 3 tablespoons)
  • Salt (amount not specified)
  • Pepper (amount not specified)


Instructions


  1. Cook the bulgur wheat by adding lemon juice and olive oil to it
  2. Chop the parsley finely and transfer it to a bowl
  3. Add chopped mint and green onions to the bowl
  4. Cut the tomatoes in quarters and remove the inside to prevent the salad from becoming too wet
  5. Finally chop the firmer part of the tomatoes and add them to the bowl
  6. Season with salt and pepper
  7. Transfer the bulgur wheat mixture to the bowl and mix it with the other ingredients
  8. Do a taste test and adjust seasoning as needed
  9. Serve the salad in the same bowl it was made in
  10. Add extra tomatoes and lemon slices on top when serving.
